I would love to hear from those of you who buy and read Unanimous Verdict -- whether you enjoyed it, or hated it, or are somewhere in between -- as long as your comments are thoughtful and constructive.  I'm in the early stages of planning another book, and your remarks could be very helpful.

I also welcome any corrections to the historical references in Unanimous Verdict.  I tried very hard to be accurate about the places and times, so please forgive the errors, but let me know of them so they can be corrected if I get the opportunity to do so.

Also, it bears repeating:  Unanimous Verdict is a work of historical fiction. If you don't know from your history books and other non-fiction sources that something happened as described in the book, assume it didn't happen.   You can find many non-fiction sources related to subjects in Unanimous Verdict at the Historical Links page and  for sale at the Amazon Store.

The subject of that next book is up-in-the-air.  Do you want to hear about Neil, Ezra and Lou again?  Maybe a sequel, set a few years later?  Maybe something about only one of them? Which one?  Ezra has the richest background in my imagination.  Frankly, I had about 100 more pages on Ezra in the first draft of Unanimous Verdict, but was persuaded -- rightly, I think -- to cut it out as too diverting from the main story.

I also am thinking of something still tied to the 1950s, but about the anti-Communism rampage, headed by Senator Joe McCarthy.  Probably entirely different characters would appear, though there is some chance of overlap.

As for me, I was born in Washington, D.C. and still live there. I  worked as a reporter for a decade or so covering the Supreme CourtI went to law school on the GI bill while covering the Court, got carried away, and became a lawyer.  I now work as a trial attorney for a federal agency.

If you liked it, please tell your friends to buy Unanimous Verdict and write a review on Amazon.com so I can afford to write another book!     If you didn't like it -- well, mum's the word.
